I               know               its               an               unpopular               idea,               but               a               base               system               similar               to               Canada's               would               be               a               lot               better               for               the               majority               of               Americans               than               the               current               system.

Make               it               accesible               to               everyone               then,               instead               of               fining               people               for               not               having               medical               coverage,               make               it               financially               beneficial               for               the               employers               to               provide               GOOD               medica               coverage?

I'm               sure               a               large               portion               of               the               population               would               agree.

Unfortunately,               the               people               with               the               "big               voices"               like               congressmen               and               those               who               make               money               off               of               the               current               system               mostly               care               about               the               bottom               line               and               not               the               human               condition.

Maybe               those               of               us               who               would               be               affected               the               most               should               band               together               and               make               our               voices               heard.

Heaven               knows               "we"               outnumber               "them".
